Ghalibaf: Attacking Infrastructure Is Suicide for the Enemy

SAEDNEWS: Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of Iran’s Parliament, described attacks on energy infrastructure as “suicide for the enemy,” referring to what he called recent U.S. and Israeli strikes on parts of the energy facilities in Asaluyeh.

Ghalibaf: Attacking Infrastructure Is Suicide for the Enemy

According to SAEDNEWS, Ghalibaf commented on the attack targeting sections of Iran’s energy infrastructure in the port city of Asaluyeh, stating that a new phase of confrontation has begun and that the principle of “an eye for an eye” is now in effect.

Full statement by the Speaker of Parliament:

“They are angry with and disappointed in the Iranian people, and by attacking infrastructure they are trying to conceal their failures on the battlefield. However, this amounts to suicide for them. The equation of eye for an eye is now established, and a new level of conflict has begun.”
