SAEDNEWS: In a post shared early Tuesday on the social media platform X, Baghaei described recent events in Tehran, saying the city’s sky once again shook with the sound of explosions targeting electrical infrastructure.
According to SAEDNEWS, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Esmaeil Baghaei, said in a message that Iranians remain “unbreakable” because of the dedicated individuals who work quietly to keep the country running, referring to them as the “silent guardians of the nation’s light.”
“Today we once again saw the sky over Tehran tremble under the sound of explosions,” he wrote. “Power stations were targeted—places that, if shut down, can plunge an entire city into darkness.”
However, he emphasized that the outages were quickly addressed by emergency crews and technicians who rushed to the damaged sites despite the danger.
“But before darkness could take hold,” Baghaei wrote, “there were young people who, amid smoke and warning sirens, rushed to the substations and restored electricity to homes in less than two hours.”
He praised the workers for their determination and dedication.
“With hands that do not recognize fatigue and hearts that want only one thing—Iran must remain illuminated,” he said.
Baghaei noted that these individuals may never appear in headlines, yet their efforts are visible in every lit home across the country.
“Perhaps their names will not appear in the news,” he added, “but every light that shines tonight in a home tells the story of the pride and resilience of these brave sons of this land.”
He concluded by saying that Iran’s strength lies in such citizens.
“Our invincibility comes from having young people like these who are devoted to the light and endurance of Iran,” Baghaei wrote. “Iran takes pride in them—the silent guardians of the nation’s light.”
