Today, the complex is a vibrant hub of culture, featuring a museum, restaurant, handicrafts gallery, and photography studio. The Mostowfi House serves as the Information Department of the Iranian Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism Organization and is recognized as the official UNESCO center for Khuzestan Province.

The house is divided into two main sections: Zenana and Biruni, both overlooking the Shadorwan weir-dam and the Shatit River, a branch of the Karun River.
