How to Prepare Baked Quince Dessert

Step 1: Preparing the Quince
First, pour water into a deep bowl, add fresh lemon juice, and set it aside. Then, peel the quinces with a peeler, cut them in half lengthwise with a knife, and scoop out the seeds with a spoon. Place the quince halves in the lemon water mixture to prevent them from browning.

Step 2: Adding Cinnamon and Cardamom
Now, place the quinces in a copper pot or any other pot, sprinkle sugar over them, add the cinnamon sticks and cardamom pods, and pour some water over the quinces. To enhance the flavor and aroma, add some quince peel and seeds into the pot as well.

Step 3: Cooking the Dessert
Put the pot on low heat, cover it, and let the quinces cook gently until they become nicely colored and thickened. Then, place them on a serving plate and garnish with ice cream, walnuts, and pistachio powder. Serve and enjoy.
