Xiaomi is reportedly developing a mid-range smartphone with a mysterious processor and a massive battery.
According to Saed News, Xiaomi might introduce a mid-range device featuring the unannounced Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset and a 7,000mAh battery in the near future
The Snapdragon 8s Elite is expected to be the successor to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, offering a balance between performance and power efficiency. While it may not be as powerful as the Snapdragon 8 Elite, it is expected to bring significant improvements over its predecessor and likely come at a lower price than flagship chipsets.
Reports suggest that the mystery Xiaomi phone’s massive battery will support 90W fast charging. Previously, Xiaomi was rumored to be testing 7,500mAh batteries with 100W charging speeds.
The exact name and model number of the phone remain unknown, but it could launch under the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro or Redmi K90 branding.
