The Forced Act of Tribal Women Giving Milk to Dogs During Reza Shah's era! / We Neither Forget, Nor forgive...

According to the news and analysis site Saadnews, quoting from the Institute of Political Studies and Research, "William Douglas," the famous judge of the U.S. Supreme Court, who visited the tribal regions of Iran in 1949 and 1950, writes in his memoirs about the Qashqai tribe (using material published on the Azad Mardan Bakhtiari website):

"During Reza Shah's reign, there was a Captain [Abbas Khan Nikbakht] who served in this area. He had a number of purebred puppies whose mother had died by chance. Every morning, the captain would send soldiers to the village to forcefully collect two liters of milk from mothers to feed his puppies. It is worth noting that the captain would not accept cow or goat milk for feeding his puppies and had ordered the soldiers to only collect breast milk. The soldiers carefully supervised the Qashqai women to ensure they were not deceived. This way, for several months, the captain's dogs were fed the breast milk of our children... This is something we will never forget and will never forgive."
