SAEDNEWS: He warned about the dangerous consequences of the Zionist regime’s warmongering policies for regional peace and stability.
According to the political news service of SaedNews, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran strongly condemns the widespread military aggression by the Israeli regime against various regions of Lebanon.
The Ministry emphasizes the responsibility of the United Nations, the international community, and regional countries to confront the warmongering actions of the occupying regime, hold it accountable, and impose appropriate sanctions. It warns of the dangerous consequences of impunity for Israel and the continuation of its aggressive and expansionist policies on regional peace and security.
Israeli military attacks on Lebanon, which since the ceasefire agreement in November 2025 have resulted in over a thousand Lebanese civilians killed or injured and caused widespread damage to infrastructure and residential areas, constitute a blatant violation of the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of an independent country and represent a heinous crime against international peace and security.
These criminal attacks, undoubtedly designed and executed with full support and complicity from the United States, are further evidence of the criminal, terrorist, and hegemonic nature of the Israeli regime. Their sole purpose is to weaken Lebanon’s sovereignty and security and to obstruct the country’s reconstruction and development.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, while expressing condolences for the Lebanese civilians martyred in these brutal attacks, affirms its solidarity with the government and people of Lebanon in confronting Israel’s criminal aggressions. It also reiterates its support for Lebanon’s legitimate resistance and the country’s efforts to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
