Saednews: A military official of the Zionist regime admitted that the security officials of this regime, acknowledging the missile and defense power of the Islamic Republic of Iran, are deeply fearful of a war of attrition against Iran.
According to Saednews:, quoting Al Jazeera, a military official of the Zionist regime stated that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have rapidly improved their defensive capabilities. He wrote that Iran possesses highly effective air defense systems and has a high capacity for launching anti-air missiles.
This military official of the Zionist regime also acknowledged Iran's considerable capability in missile launching, interception systems, and other military strengths. He claimed that Iran intends to produce dozens of advanced ballistic missiles and launch platforms each month.
He admitted that the security officials of the Zionist regime, aware of the power of the Iranian people, are deeply fearful of a war of attrition against the country without a diplomatic path.
According to Saednews, on June 13 (Khordad 23), the Zionist regime launched a criminal attack against Iran, targeting nuclear facilities, military and civilian sites, and also martyred several senior military commanders, prominent nuclear scientists, and civilian citizens.
However, in response to the Zionist regime's aggression, Iran targeted military positions and objectives in the occupied territories with a series of missile strikes.
At the beginning of the Zionist regime’s criminal assault, some of its security officials seriously criticized the policies of Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime. They acknowledged that while Israelis are already exhausted from the Gaza war, political crises, and deep internal divisions, they have no desire for another conflict in the current situation and are not even capable of enduring a war of attrition with the Iranians. Nevertheless, they are forced to deal with Netanyahu’s decision and all its economic, social, and psychological consequences.
They also emphasized that Iranians, due to their resilience and ideological determination, are highly skilled in long and exhausting wars of attrition, asserting that the outcome of the war will ultimately be determined by Iran.
According to them, the historical experience of the Iranian people during the eight-year war with Iraq’s Ba'athist regime (the imposed war) shows that they are ready for sacrifice and enduring the hardships of war under any circumstances. While Saddam Hussein, the former President of Iraq, expected to conquer Iran shortly after invading in 1979 (Shahrivar 1359), he instead found himself entangled in an eight-year war with Iranians—and was defeated.
