According to Saed News’ political service, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressing concern over recent developments between Pakistan and Afghanistan, emphasized the necessity of mutual respect for the territorial integrity and national sovereignty of both countries. He called for restraint and the immediate initiation of dialogue between the parties to reduce tensions and resolve disputes through diplomacy.
ISNA reports that Esmaeil Baghai stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran places fundamental importance on maintaining peace and stability in its surrounding region and is ready to provide any assistance to ease tensions between the two neighboring Muslim countries.
