According to SAEDNEWS, Sam Asghari reflects on his marriage to Britney Spears with a sense of gratitude.

Now that he has finalized his divorce from the "Womanizer" singer two months ago, the upcoming star of The Traitors is taking a moment to reflect on the lessons learned and the experiences shared during their time together.

In an exclusive interview with E! News' Francesca Amiker, Sam expressed, "You learn so much from being in relationships in general. I appreciate all the amazing experiences that I got." He emphasized how serious relationships contribute to personal growth, explaining that his time with Britney will always be a part of him.

"I'm always going to celebrate the past," he shared, "and learn from it while moving forward into the future."

Sam had nothing but kind words for Britney, stating, "I wish her the best. She's an amazing person and a huge part of my life, and I always appreciate the moments we had together."

As for his current love life, the 30-year-old quipped, "At the moment, I'm dating my dog." He joked about his dog, Porsche, being "high maintenance," adding, "So my hands are full with my current partner."

Despite the humor, Sam made it clear that he is focusing on his healing journey before diving into another relationship. "It's going to take some time for me," he said, "as it does for everyone who goes through a breakup." Instead, he’s pouring his energy into his career, especially with his upcoming comedy film, Jackpot, where Californians must scheme to kill a lottery winner and claim their winnings. Sam described filming as an "amazing experience."

His favorite aspect of working on the Paul Feig-directed film was collaborating with industry veterans like John Cena, Awkwafina, and Simu Liu. He praised their comedic timing, noting that being around such talent was a blessing and allowed him to learn so much.

Jackpot is set to hit theaters on August 15.
