SAEDNEWS: The Qeshlaq Bridge (Gheshlagh Bridge) lies on the Gheshlagh River, 3 km. east of Sanandaj.
This brick bridge dates back to the Safavid period and features two large arches along with four smaller openings. The bridge measures approximately 5.8 meters in width and 90 meters in length. Waterbreakers, shaped in both circular and triangular forms, are positioned on either side of the base pillars.
Two inscriptions from the Qajar era are present on the main structure: one indicates the original construction date of 1148 AH, while the other records a repair carried out in 1334 AH.
