SAEDNEWS: World’s Shortest Couple Enters the Record Books
According to Saed News via Tasnim, a Brazilian couple has officially entered the Guinness World Records as the world’s shortest married couple.
As reported by the Huffington Post, Paulo Gabriel da Silva Barros and Katyucia Lie Hoshino Barros were recognized during a ceremony in London, earning the title of the shortest couple on record.
Measuring Up
Paulo stands at 90.2 cm (2 ft 11.7 in), while Katyucia measures 91.13 cm (2 ft 11.9 in). The couple tied the knot in September and currently reside in Itapio, Brazil.
Living the Dream
In an interview, Paulo shared his excitement about the recognition: “We are very happy today and grateful to God… it feels like a dream.”
Katyucia added, “We’re glad we could show that despite our challenges and limitations, we can still be happy.”
