SAEDNEWS: The prosecutor of Tehran said that cases related to individuals involved in the Israeli regime’s aggression against Iran are being handled in a special and urgent manner.
Tehran Prosecutor Ali Salehi has said that cases related to espionage for enemies, transferring information through maps or location data, and the transportation of explosive materials during the Israeli regime’s aggression against Iran are being followed up on in a specialized and urgent manner.
During a ceremony commemorating those who lost their lives in the Israeli airstrike on Evin Prison in Tehran, Salehi said on Wednesday that the Judiciary mobilizes all available resources and personnel to address these cases and identify the perpetrators and accused individuals as soon as possible.
Regarding a list of approximately 71,000 individuals involved in supporting opposition media outlets, he noted that if sufficient evidence is presented to establish a crime, legal action will be taken accordingly. He emphasized that Iran’s security is a red line for the judicial system, and any espionage activities or collaborations with adversaries will be met with decisive responses.
Asghar Jahangir, the spokesperson for the Judiciary, said that the judicial system is actively pursuing the damages caused by the Israeli regime’s 12-day war in both domestic and international courts.
Regarding the regime’s attack on Evin Prison, Jahangir said that the enemy aimed to demonstrate to the world that they are determined to violate international regulations.
He also criticized the international community for keeping silent regarding such crimes committed by the Israeli regime.
