Kathleen Martinez, an archaeologist from Santo Domingo University, has spent nearly two decades hunting for Cleopatra’s lost tomb. Now, Martinez believes she may have made a major breakthrough in her quest.

It is still too early to confirm where the tunnels lead. However, Martinez remains hopeful, stating that if the tunnels lead to Cleopatra’s tomb, it would be “the most important discovery of the century.”
