According to Saed News, citing Jam-e Jam, a massive 33-foot snake has been discovered beneath a construction site, prompting many to wonder: could this be the largest snake humans have ever encountered?
The 400-kilogram reptile was found while workers were digging in the Altamira area. The snake measures about one meter in diameter. Zoologists say this species of giant snake is known as an anaconda.
Photos of the snake show it being lifted by a multi-ton crane while secured with chains.
According to unverified reports, workers killed the snake out of fear that it might eat them or attack local residents. However, details on how or with what means the snake was killed remain unclear.
It’s worth noting that Brazilian media have not officially confirmed the death of this enormous serpent.
