SAEDNEWS: The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei issued a message on Saturday morning over the martyrdom of Yahya Sinwar.
According to SAEDNEWS, On Saturday morning, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, shared a message regarding the martyrdom of Yahya Sinwar, a top figure in Hamas.
In his message directed at Muslim nations and the passionate youth in the region, Ayatollah Khamenei stated that Sinwar has now joined his fellow martyrs. He acknowledged Sinwar as a significant figure in the Resistance movement, praising his strong will to fight against the "cruel enemy." The Leader noted that Sinwar earned the status of martyr for his relentless efforts against the "usurping" Israeli regime.
Khamenei expressed that Sinwar's loss is deeply felt within the Resistance Front. However, he assured that the movement would continue, saying, “The Resistance did not stop after the martyrdom of its leaders, and it will not stop, God willing.” He emphasized, “Hamas is alive and will remain alive.”
Additionally, Ayatollah Khamenei extended his condolences to the Resistance forces, Sinwar's family, and the supporters of the Resistance Front.
Hamas confirmed on Friday that Yahya Sinwar had been killed in an Israeli attack in Rafah, a city in Gaza. Before becoming Hamas' political leader, Sinwar led the group in Gaza for seven years and spent 22 years in an Israeli prison, being released in a prisoner swap in 2011.
