SAEDNEWS: Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has called on the Iranian parliament to maintain constructive interaction with the administration of President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian, saying that the success of the new president is the success of all people and groups.
SAEDNEWS:The Iranian lawmakers are meeting with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution after holding a session earlier on Sunday morning with the participation of Iran's new president-elect Masoud Pezeshkian. the meeting took place on the occasion of the start of the 12th round of the Iranian Parliament.
"The parliament is not only a questioning body but also an answering body," the Leader stressed.
He advised the parliament members to have maximum cooperation with the new government of Iran which is about to form. "The success of the president and the new government is the success of all of us. Everyone should help the president to fulfill his duties towards the country."
Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Khamenei called on the parliament members and the upcoming administration members to unite in making decisions, saying, "A united voice should be heard from the country regarding important issues."
Elsewhere in his remarks, the Leader referred to the ongoing catastrophic situation in the Gaza Strip, saying that the issue of Gaza is still the first issue of the Islamic world.
