According to Saednews, A woman experienced a serious allergic reaction after using a hair dye without first performing the recommended allergy patch test.
According to the report, she purchased a hair dye and applied it without carefully reading the instructions or checking for possible allergic reactions. The combination of a low-quality product and her sensitivity to a chemical known as PPD (para-phenylenediamine) caused intense itching on her scalp and face.
To relieve the symptoms, she took antihistamines and applied anti-allergy creams before going to sleep. When she woke up, the itching had disappeared, but her face had swollen dramatically.
As the swelling continued to worsen and she began experiencing difficulty breathing, she was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
Her mother explained that she had previously suffered a mild allergic reaction to hair dye, but it had never been as severe as this incident.
Speaking about her experience, the woman said she wanted to share her story as a warning to others. She urged people to always read product instructions and perform the recommended allergy test before using hair dye, hoping to prevent others from facing the same dangerous situation.
