SAEDNEWS: A wolf in Turkey’s Erzurum Province reportedly froze to death while standing on snow due to extremely cold weather conditions. The animal became encased in ice and died after being exposed to the severe freezing temperatures.

Wolf Frozen in Extreme Cold

According to Saed News Agency, a wolf in Erzurum, Turkey, froze to death while standing due to extremely cold weather.

The harsh temperatures in eastern Anatolia have negatively affected both people and animals, with nighttime lows reaching -17°C.

The wolf, which had been roaming the plains of Erzurum in search of food, reportedly died standing upright as a result of the intense cold.

Its lifeless body—partially buried up to its torso in snow—was discovered by a passerby.
