SAEDNEWS: Yemen Says It Launched Three Military Operations in Response to Saudi-Led Attacks
According to Saednews, Military spokesperson Yahya Saree said in a statement that Saudi attacks on the targeted areas had killed or injured dozens of civilians, most of them women and children.
According to the statement, the first operation targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. The second struck aircraft hangars, ammunition depots, drone control centers, and other strategic facilities at King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait. The third targeted the Southern Naval Base of the Border Guard Forces in Jizan.
“The blood of our people is precious, and we will not allow this criminal enemy to continue its bloodshed without a painful and unforgettable response,” the statement said, warning that Yemen would continue its military operations “deep inside Saudi territory.”
The statement also renewed its warning to international airlines, passengers, and aviation personnel, urging them to avoid Saudi airspace and Riyadh’s main airport.
However, it added that Yemeni attacks would not target the airspace over the holy cities of Mecca and Medina.
