SAEDNEWS: Iran's prosecutor-general and the chairman of the Russian Supreme Court emphasized the development of legal and judicial relations between Tehran and Moscow during a meeting held Tuesday in the Russian capital.
According to Saednews, Iran’s Prosecutor-General, Hojjatoleslam Wal-Muslimeen Movahedi Azad, is in Russia to attend a meeting of prosecutors-general from the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).
During a meeting with Igor Krasnov, Chairman of the Russian Supreme Court, Movahedi Azad expressed appreciation for the support and solidarity shown by the Russian government and people, particularly senior Russian political and legal officials, toward Iran during the recent imposed war.
He said Iran is prepared to share experiences in using new technologies in judicial proceedings and courts, with the aim of safeguarding public rights.
The two sides also emphasized the need to further develop and expand judicial cooperation between Iran and Russia.
Krasnov, meanwhile, pointed to the expanding political relations between the two countries and recent meetings between the Iranian and Russian presidents. He said legal consultations could contribute to strengthening bilateral relations.
