SAEDNEWS: IRGC Warns Iran Will Respond to Any Attack With a Much Larger Strike

IRGC Threatens to Strike 20 Targets for Every 2 Attacked by the Enemy

according to Saednews, Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, IRGC spokesperson Brigadier General Hossein Mohebbi said Iran’s control, authority, and operational management of the Strait of Hormuz had become “fully established, certain, and demonstrable” following the IRGC Navy’s capture of a US unmanned submarine in the strategic waterway.

Mohebbi said Iran would use its capabilities to respond to any acts of aggression, warning that vessels attempting to pass through the strait without taking Iran’s control of the waterway into consideration would “definitely not be able to pass.”

He also said that approximately 30 to 40 US vessels and warships had been deployed in the Persian Gulf before the start of the US-Israeli war of aggression. According to Mohebbi, none of those vessels are currently in the area, while US warships have moved at least 400 kilometers away from the Strait of Hormuz.

The IRGC spokesperson further claimed that Iran can strike targets at considerable distances using newly developed weapons and missiles.

“We also hit an aircraft carrier a few days ago at a distance of about 500 kilometers,” he said.

Mohebbi added that Iran had reached a point where an attack on two or three of its targets would prompt a much larger response.

“If the enemy hits two or three of our targets, we will respond strongly with 20 targets,” he said.

Mohebbi warned that the Islamic Republic would use its military capabilities to respond to further aggression and “make the enemy regret continuing its aggression.”
