SAEDNEWS: Iran Says Its Forces Can Target U.S. Ships Amid Economic Blockade
According to Saednews, Brigadier General Seyyed Majid Ebn-e-Reza, speaking during a visit to the home of martyred Major General Aziz Nasirzadeh, said the Defence Ministry is continuing to implement the four-year programme presented to parliament by the late defence minister, following “the same path, strength and motivation.”
Asked whether Iran has the capability to target U.S. vessels involved in the economic blockade, he said, “Rest assured, we have the capability, and you will see the results, God willing.”
The comments came after the IRGC announced that it had targeted a U.S. aircraft carrier and a destroyer with ballistic missiles, reportedly forcing the vessels to leave the conflict zone.
