SAEDNEWS: Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri has accused Israel of repeatedly violating ceasefire agreements, saying that Israel has demonstrated a disregard for international laws and existing agreements.
According to Saednews, citing the Lebanese news website El-Nashra, Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri said in remarks published Sunday that Israel has repeatedly violated the ceasefire in Lebanon.
Berri stated that Israel has “undoubtedly proven that it does not adhere to any ceasefire agreement” and continues to violate international laws and agreements.
He added that the upcoming Israeli elections have become a competition in which political figures are vying over who can kill and destroy the most.
The Lebanese Parliament Speaker further emphasized that Israel is constantly seeking to turn southern Lebanon and its people into a “bloody ballot box” amid the upcoming Israeli electoral competition.
