SAEDNEWS: An Italian newspaper has highlighted seven medical questions concerning Donald Trump’s health, including unusual bruising, swollen legs and repeated sleepiness. The controversy has also renewed debate over a proposed congressional commission to independently assess presidential health.
According to SaedNews: The Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera has reported on seven medical questions raised by Dr. Jonathan Reiner regarding the health of 80-year-old Donald Trump. Among the issues cited are why Trump was examined by 22 specialists, unusual bruising on his hands, sudden swelling in his legs, frequent drowsiness and several cognitive tests.

The White House responded by calling Trump the “smartest” president in history while attacking Reiner as a “fool” and a “plague on the medical profession.”
Reiner said he had not made a medical diagnosis and had only raised legitimate questions, arguing that the public has a right to know about the health of its president.
The controversy has also intensified discussion around a bill introduced by Democratic Representative Jamie Raskin. The proposal calls for an independent congressional commission to assess the health of presidents.
According to the proposal, the measure is intended to prevent the concealment of medical information and reduce reliance on a president’s personal physician, who may face political pressure.
