SAEDNEWS: The spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry strongly criticized Canada, accusing it of playing a subservient role in supporting US military aggression against Iran.
According to Saednews, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei has criticized Canada over reports of its covert support for Washington in its aggression against Iran.
In a post on X, Baghaei mocked Ottawa’s response to what he described as repeated pressure and insults from Washington. He noted that the US calls Canada its “51st state,” imposes tariffs on Canadian goods, and has threatened consequences over wildfire smoke.
“And Ottawa's response? ‘Understood, Sir!’” he wrote.
Baghaei said Canada is now apparently seeking to appease Washington by participating in what he called the “unlawful US war of choice” against Iran.
“What's the reward?” he asked rhetorically.
Concluding his remarks with a hockey reference, Baghaei said, “This is not hockey night in Canada; it is Washington's farm team.”
