SAEDNEWS: Iran's President Pezeshkian says Iran stands ready to reassure the world that it is not pursuing nuclear weapons or regional instability.
According to Saednews, On Sunday, Pezeshkian stated that Iran’s position has remained unchanged, emphasizing that Tehran is ready to provide assurances that its nuclear program is peaceful and that the country has no intention of creating instability in the Middle East.
He accused Israel of escalating tensions across the region, saying the Israeli government takes advantage of every opportunity to sustain conflict and instability. He also claimed that Israel is pursuing a broader regional agenda based on the concept of a “Greater Israel.”
Referring to recent talks between Tehran and Washington, the Iranian president stressed that Iran’s negotiators will not compromise on the country’s dignity and national interests. “We and our negotiators will never back down from Iran’s honor and sovereignty,” he said.
He further highlighted improving citizens’ livelihoods as one of the government’s main priorities, adding that officials are continuously working to address economic challenges and public concerns.
