Saed News: The spokesperson of Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs provided explanations regarding the controversies surrounding the possible trip of the Foreign Minister to New York.
According to SAEDNEWS, via ISNA, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei, in response to a question about whether there is a possibility of the Foreign Minister’s trip to New York in the coming days, said: Considering China’s rotating presidency of the UN Security Council and its plan to hold a special ministerial meeting on issues related to international peace and security, our Foreign Minister has also been invited to participate in this meeting.
The Foreign Ministry spokesperson stated that this open meeting of the UN Security Council is scheduled for May 26 (5 Khordad), but given the Foreign Minister’s busy schedule, participation has not yet been finalized.
At the end, Baghaei advised: “We should be careful about enemy plots in spreading fake news and images, and not base our analysis on them.”
