Pakistani Foreign Minister Makes Second Visit to Tehran Within a Week

According to Saednews, Naqvi has traveled to Tehran for discussions with Iranian officials, marking his second visit to the Iranian capital within less than a week.

During an earlier high-level trip, Pakistan’s Interior Minister held strategic meetings with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, and Interior Minister Eskandar Mo’meni. The talks focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in economic and scientific fields, promoting regional stability through Islamic unity, and Pakistan’s continuing efforts to act as a mediator in dialogue between Iran and the United States.

The consultations took place amid recent military actions by the United States and Israel against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iranian officials stressed that lasting regional security depends on the removal of external interference and the development of stronger relations among neighboring Islamic countries.

Pakistan’s role was described as important, with Tehran acknowledging Islamabad’s “sincere and committed efforts” to ease tensions and encourage diplomatic engagement.
