SAEDNEWS: The foreign minister of Iraq was briefed on the latest developments in the nuclear talks between Iran and the US during a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart.
Fouad Hussein held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi on Friday to discuss regional and international developments.
During the call, the top Iranian diplomat informed his Iraqi counterpart about the process of Iran-US nuclear negotiations.
The two sides also emphasized the importance of continuing close consultations among the countries of the region to safeguard regional peace and stability.
Iran and the US have held three rounds of indirect nuclear negotiations in recent weeks, mediated by Oman.
The next round of talks will be held in Vienna soon.
