SAEDNEWS: New US Tariffs on Canadian Goods Take Effect, Raising Levies to 50% on 110 Products

New U.S. Tariffs Place 50% Duties on 110 Canadian Products

According to Saednews, The United States has introduced additional tariffs on a range of Canadian goods, including certain cheeses, motorboats, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and furniture.

The measures represent a further escalation of trade tensions between Washington and Ottawa and expand the list of Canadian products subject to higher US duties, Anadolu Agency (AA) reported.

The new tariffs come as part of a broader trade dispute between the two countries, with both governments already imposing or threatening measures that could affect billions of dollars in bilateral trade.
