SAEDNEWS: Turkish defense company Roketsan successfully destroyed a moving target during a test launch of its Sungur missile from the Burç mobile air defense system.
According to Saednews, A recent test marked a new milestone in the development of the firm’s layered air defense capabilities, according to Anadolu Agency.
The Burc is a next-generation air defense system that combines advanced firepower, including the Sungur missile and 20/30-millimeter cannon, with active and passive sensors.
The shoulder-launched Sungur air defense system is designed to provide short-range protection for mobile and fixed military units and facilities on the battlefield, with an effective range of more than eight kilometers (approximately five miles).
The system is also designed to be integrated with a variety of other platforms.
