According to Saednews, Multiple powerful explosions were reported in the Raniya district of Sulaymaniyah province in northern Iraq, according to Al-Mayadeen.
As of now, Iraqi security forces and government authorities have not released an official statement explaining the cause or source of the blasts.
Meanwhile, Iraqi media outlets have reported that the explosions were linked to a drone and missile attack targeting the headquarters of Kurdish groups opposed to Iran in the Sulaymaniyah region. The reports have not yet been officially confirmed.
