SAEDNEWS: The President stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran considers seeking justice and taking revenge against the perpetrators and those who ordered this historic crime to be its duty and legitimate right, and that it will devote all its power to fulfilling this great responsibility and obligation.
According to SAEDNEWS, President Masoud Pezeshkian, in a message, offered his condolences on the martyrdom of Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei, the esteemed Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
Part of the message states that the assassination of the highest political authority of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and a prominent leader and religious authority of the Shiite world, by what he described as the sinister American–Zionist axis, constitutes an open declaration of war against Muslims, especially Shiites across the world.

In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
“And do not say of those who are killed in the way of God that they are dead; rather, they are alive, but you do not perceive.”
With the utmost sorrow, grief, and regret, the great Commander of the Islamic Ummah, the eminent and noble Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei, was martyred at the hands of the most wicked of the wicked. This event is the greatest trial facing the Islamic world today. The assassination of the highest political authority of the Islamic Republic of Iran and a distinguished leader and religious authority of the Shiite world by the sinister American–Zionist axis is considered an open declaration of war against Muslims, particularly Shiites around the globe.
Beloved Iran, during 37 years of the wise guidance and leadership of the exalted martyr Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei, steadfastly continued the luminous path of Imam Khomeini with strength and authority, and became a center of resistance against global arrogance and a symbol of independence. A great and divine leader who, relying on the will, vote, and opinion of the people, granted dignity and honor to the Iranian nation and stood like a mighty pillar, a thorn in the eye of the enemies of Islam and Iran.
His prudence and foresight, perseverance and steadfastness in the face of oppression, devotion to Imam Khomeini and the ideals of the Islamic Revolution, compassion and kindness, knowledge and patience, honesty, and sincere faith in Almighty God have left the name of the noble martyr Imam Khamenei eternal and enduring in contemporary history alongside Imam Khomeini. Indeed, nothing but martyrdom in the battlefield against the enemies of Islam was worthy of the name and stature of Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

Once again, I extend my condolences to the Islamic Ummah, the noble nation of Iran, and all admirers and followers of this eternal leader, and I emphasize my firm resolve and unshakable will to continue the path of this great man of history. I ask Almighty God to grant ever-increasing unity and solidarity among officials and the noble Iranian people in pursuing the lofty ideals of the Islamic Revolution and in expanding justice and freedom in society.
