In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
The exalted soul of the leader of the great nation of Iran, the freedom-seekers of the world, and the Islamic Ummah, His Eminence Imam Khamenei (may his pure soul be sanctified), has ascended to the highest heavens and attained his long-cherished aspiration. Following the path of his noble forefather, Imam Ali (peace and blessings be upon him), during the blessed month of Ramadan, he proclaimed the heavenly call “By the Lord of the Kaaba, I have succeeded,” and returned to the Divine Presence, tasting the sweet nectar of martyrdom in this sacred month.
Today, the faithful nation of Iran, the Islamic Ummah, and freedom-loving people across the world are in mourning due to the malicious attacks of criminal America and the wicked Zionists. Yet the savage enemies and oppressive forces of the international order must know that the awakened hearts of the world have found their path. Though this martyrdom is heavy upon our nation and the Muslim peoples, it will only render them more steadfast and resolute. Undoubtedly, the martyrdom of that exalted and noble personality will mark the beginning of great uprising in the struggle against the oppressors of the world.
