Drinking coffee to relieve fatigue and drowsiness has become a necessity in many of our lives. Of course, most of us also enjoy trying coffee with a new flavor from time to time to double the pleasure of drinking it. For you coffee lovers who are looking for new tastes, we have a great suggestion: try honey coffee.
Beverages, whether hot or cold, sweet or bitter, can gain a more delightful and diverse flavor by adding certain spices and ingredients such as cardamom, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, honey, and so on. One such example is honey coffee, a flavorful combination. Below, we’ll teach you how to prepare honey coffee. Just like other French-style drinks such as hot chocolate, this coffee has an exceptional taste. Honey coffee is a warm, delicious drink that can be easily prepared at home in no time.
Honey: 2 tablespoons
Boiling water: 1 tablespoon (to dissolve the honey)
Lemon: 1 whole
Chocolate ice cream: 4 scoops
Ice: ½ cup
Instant gold coffee: 2 teaspoons
Water: ½ cup
Make the coffee: Add the instant gold coffee into a cup and mix it with hot water. Stir well until fully dissolved and a bit frothy. Alternatively, you can brew your preferred coffee using a home espresso machine, moka pot, or any other method you prefer.
Prepare the honey base: Pour the honey into your serving glass and mix it with the tablespoon of hot (but not boiling) water to fully dissolve the honey. Squeeze the lemon, strain the juice, and mix it into the honey-water mixture.
Assemble the drink: Add ice cubes over the honey-lemon mixture. Then scoop the chocolate ice cream and place it over the ice.
Finish with coffee: Pour the prepared coffee over the top. Stir gently and serve. Optionally, add a bit of foamed milk on top for extra richness.
Adjust the amount of honey to your taste.
This recipe makes one large glass; you can halve or double the ingredients as needed.
For garnish, feel free to drizzle with chocolate syrup.
