Kotlet is made with meat, potatoes, salt, flour, and aromatic spices, and it is usually served without rice, accompanied by bread either cold or warm. Kotlet can be served as a main dish, appetizer, travel food, or cold sandwich. It can also be made entirely vegetarian by substituting mushrooms and soy for meat, so vegetarians can enjoy this dish as well. Since Shami Kebab is considered a dry kebab, it is usually served with sauce. We recommend either using fried tomatoes or tomato sauce alongside this dish.
