Saed News: The television network RT claimed that Iran's Foreign Minister and Donald Trump's special envoy, Steven Witkoff, had a face-to-face meeting after the conclusion of indirect negotiations mediated by Oman’s Foreign Minister Busaidi.
According to the news outlet Saed News, the Russian state television network RT, in an exclusive report about the historic meeting between Abbas Araghchi and Steven Witkoff, stated: “The negotiations progressed in a completely constructive and meaningful manner, and both sides emphasized the continuation of talks.”
RT further reported that U.S. President Donald Trump described the status of the Tehran file as “excellent,” although he refrained from making additional comments on the matter.
A noteworthy point in RT’s report was the network’s emphasis on a “face-to-face meeting” between Abbas Araghchi and Steven Witkoff. The outlet claimed that Iran’s Foreign Minister held a direct and cordial conversation with Steven Witkoff in the presence of Oman’s Foreign Minister.
