SAEDNEWS: Esmaeil Baghai, spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, dismissed the claim that Iran sent 15 messages to the US as baseless and emphasized that Europe and the US lack good faith in the re-imposition of sanctions, stressing that coercion cannot replace diplomacy.
According to Saed News, Esmaeil Baghai, in today’s (Tuesday) session, described claims by a hostile media outlet about statements by Gharibabadi, Deputy Foreign Minister, that Iran had sent 15 messages to Washington in various forms as baseless and part of psychological warfare. He added: “The claim has no foundation.”
Baghai continued: “We see no good faith from the three European countries in imposing these conditions for implementing the snapback sanctions process. We consider the United States lacking good faith and seriousness because of our experience, and what happened over the past three to four months was clear and needs no interpretation. Resorting to force during a negotiation process makes the talk of diplomacy and negotiation meaningless.”
