Ghazanfari: IAEA inspectors entered the country with the approval of the Supreme National Security Council

According to Saed News citing ISNA, Kamran Ghazanfari, in a session of the Iranian Parliament, stated:

According to today’s remarks by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Parliament, and with the approval of the Supreme National Security Council, IAEA inspectors have been allowed to enter the country and visit the Bushehr nuclear site and the Tehran research site. Ghazanfari emphasized that this action clearly violates the law requiring the government to suspend cooperation with the IAEA.

He added that under the law mandating suspension of cooperation, the government must halt any engagement with the IAEA until full assurance of national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the security of nuclear facilities and scientists is guaranteed.

Ghazanfari concluded by warning that the U.S. and Israel continuously threaten Iran with attacks on its nuclear facilities. He stressed that in this situation, no one has the right to cooperate with the IAEA, and if such cooperation occurs, the head of the Supreme National Security Council will face legal prosecution for blatant violation of the law.
