Commander Praises Iranian Army’s Major Leap in Combat Preparedness

Brigadier General Karim Chashak, Deputy Commander of the Army Ground Force, said on Saturday that although effective measures had been taken in previous years to strengthen Iran’s defensive capabilities, the level of combat readiness among the armed forces has increased noticeably in recent months.

He said the improvements are clearly visible in the development of defensive equipment, including drones, various missile systems, and precision-guided, long-range, and network-enabled weapons.

According to the commander, recent regional incidents and confrontations — particularly the 12-day war imposed by the Zionist regime and the United States in June — have further reinforced the determination of Iran’s armed forces to counter hostile intentions and the evolving tactics employed by Israel.

“These developments have led to more targeted planning for readiness under harsher and more complex conditions,” Chashak said, adding that Iranian military forces are now preparing for a wide range of potential threat scenarios.

He emphasized that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, including the Army, are currently at an appropriate level of readiness and remain fully committed to continuously strengthening their defensive capabilities and enhancing their combat preparedness.
