SAEDNEWS: The former prime minister of the Zionist regime acknowledged Iran’s missile power in the recent conflict and revealed efforts to remove Netanyahu from power.
According to Saednews, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert emphasized the urgent need to end the Gaza war early Wednesday morning.
In an interview with Al Jazeera, Olmert said:
"The kidnapped soldiers in Gaza must be returned, and a joint government for the Gaza Strip — separate from Hamas — should be formed. Israeli politicians must pressure Netanyahu to end the war in Gaza."
Expressing hope that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will announce early elections, he added:
"We are certain that if early elections are held, Netanyahu’s cabinet will collapse. Polls show that the opposition has a good chance of winning the upcoming elections."
According to the report, the former Israeli prime minister stated:
"We hope Trump will pressure Netanyahu to stop the war in Gaza. I ask President Trump to tell Netanyahu: Enough! Most Israelis want the Gaza war to end."
Olmert emphasized:
"We want to remove Netanyahu and will do everything we can to achieve this. Gaza is not part of Israel. I believe this war is unnecessary, unjustified, illegal, and a crime."
He went on to discuss the 12-day war between Israel and Iran, which led Tel Aviv to accept a ceasefire, saying:
"Iranian missiles caused extensive damage to Israeli cities. Iran does not want peaceful coexistence with Israel."
