Saed News: The portrayal and narration of the Zionist regime's aggression against Iran and its people has revealed the true face of Iran International to its audience more than ever; a media outlet that has long claimed to defend the Iranian people but now openly acts as a branch of Israel's war propaganda headquarters.

A Look at the Performance of a Media Outlet Amid the Zionist Aggression Against Iran: Three Realities About Iran International

According to Saed News citing IRNA, among the gaps in information dissemination over the past decade, Iran International network, relying on the large funds and investments of Iran’s enemies, has tried under the guise of media activity to become a reference media outlet among Persian-speaking audiences.

However, referring to this media was never out of trust for many viewers, but rather because of its speed, comprehensiveness, and polished presentation of various news products, which openly revealed the bias of its operators.

Iran International gave its platform to Netanyahu to directly voice his positions against the people it targets.

In recent years, in reviews of foreign Persian-language media activity, Iran International’s media strategy has attracted much attention; unlike traditional competitors like BBC Persian or Radio Farda, it distanced itself from pretending neutrality to create a distinct contrast with them and, especially during critical moments when millions of Persian speakers focus on media narratives, to strengthen its position atop foreign news agencies.

This situation has repeatedly led to media conflicts, especially during recent unrest, culminating in a media clash among London-based outlets in autumn 2022.

After that, events such as Iran International’s relocation from London to Washington occurred, followed by its transfer under new owners.

These days, amid the Zionist regime’s attack on Iranian soil, which is taking place both militarily and narratively, Iran International has unveiled its true face more than ever, and three key points about this situation are crucial:

  1. This media, which since its inception in 2017 (1396 Iranian calendar) introduced itself as a "defender of the interests of the Iranian people" and, with 24/7 coverage of Iran’s news and events, aimed to top hostile media outlets, is now conducting exclusive live interviews with Benjamin Netanyahu—the greatest enemy of the Iranian people—openly showing its audience its close ties with the Zionist enemy.

Even a minimal understanding of media and communication reveals the meaning of a leader of one of the combatant fronts appearing on a media outlet during wartime. Netanyahu has recently appeared only in a few Israeli media outlets, meaning Iran International is more Zionist-aligned than networks based in the occupied territories or other Western countries.

News about the targeting of the Zionist regime’s positions, the fear and terror of occupied territory residents, and the destruction caused by Iranian missile and drone strikes are extensively censored on this network. In contrast, fake news about the "deteriorating situation" in Iran is heavily amplified.

Iran International handed over its platform to Netanyahu to openly announce his positions against the people whom his forces target with various weapons.

  1. This Zionist network uses reports from citizen-journalists to instill fear of famine and shortages of essential goods in people, accusing the opposing side of "censoring" real news about the conflict with the regime. Yet, it itself censors negative news detrimental to Israel.

News related to the targeting of the regime, fear among occupied territories’ residents, and damage from Iranian strikes is suppressed as much as possible. Conversely, fabricated news about worsening conditions in Iran is strongly promoted.

  1. War is neither acceptable nor desirable, and everyone knows its consequences bring suffering regardless of location or actors.

Under such circumstances, a media claiming to support the Iranian people has become a tool to escalate the conflict and encourage U.S. participation in war against Iran in favor of Israel. One expert from this media, repeating Netanyahu’s claim about Iran’s proximity to acquiring nuclear weapons, stated: Almost all U.S. Republican and Democratic representatives agree on a U.S. attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities, and only America’s bunker-buster bombs can destroy Iran’s nuclear capability.

In summary, Iran International is currently fully engaged in narrative construction for Netanyahu’s war propaganda headquarters, explicitly fighting against the Iranian people under Israel’s flag and from the mouths of operatives and agents who, disregarding the stigma of treason, lash the minds of Persian audiences.
