SAEDNEWS: Iran’s Civil Defense chief Gholamreza Jalali dismissed speculations about commanders being tracked via smart devices, calling such claims unrealistic and damaging for Apple, while emphasizing the continued importance of smart technologies and related precautions.
According to Saed News, the head of Iran’s Civil Defense Organization said: “The hypothesis of tracking the country’s commanders through smart devices is ruled out. Of course, the issue of smart technology and its application remains important, and necessary measures have been taken in this regard.”
In response to certain speculations about the tracking of commanders via smart devices, Gholamreza Jalali stated: “Such claims are unlikely, and if true, it would amount to a kind of economic suicide for Apple.”
He added: “There may be some considerations for certain officials or individuals who use special devices, but as far as I know, almost none of our commanders have used such tools. Many certainly have not, and regarding some others, I strongly believe they also did not use them.”
The head of the Civil Defense Organization emphasized: “On this basis, the hypothesis of tracking the country’s commanders through smart devices is dismissed. Nevertheless, the subject of smart technologies and their utilization remains important, and the necessary measures have been considered in this area.”
