SAEDNEWS: Brigadier General Ali Fadavi stressed that according to Islamic teachings, the real challenge facing the Muslim Ummah is internal discord rather than military or economic wars, urging unity and repentance from those fueling division.
According to Saed News, quoting ISNA, Brigadier General Ali Fadavi said today (Wednesday, July 27) on the sidelines of the Arbaeen ceremony commemorating the martyrdom of Martyr General Gholamhossein Gheibparvar, in a meeting with reporters:
“God Almighty, in the heavenly ascensions, promised the Prophet (PBUH) that your Ummah will not face problems through military war or economic war. This matter is mentioned in the Qur’an and in narrations, where God tells the Prophet (PBUH) that the problem of your Ummah will be internal discord. The Prophet (PBUH) immediately says: ‘O God, if possible, remove this from them.’ God replies: ‘It cannot be removed.’”
He continued:
“For this reason, both Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Supreme Leader have repeatedly emphasized that within the Islamic Ummah and in the Islamic country there must not be division — especially during times of war. Everyone in the world understands that in wartime, no individual should utter words of division. Unfortunately, some individuals voiced divisive remarks the very next day after the Supreme Leader’s statements. They must repent. Unity and solidarity are among the obligations of Islam and the Prophet of Islam.”
