SAEDNEWS: Javad Mansouri, Iran’s first IRGC commander and former ambassador to China, warned that any future conflict with Israel and the US could be wider in scope. He highlighted past Israeli losses, potential infiltration risks, and the impossibility of Israel coexisting peacefully with Iran.
According to Saed News, Javad Mansouri, the first commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and former Iranian ambassador to China, gave an interview to KhabarOnline, discussing Iran’s stance regarding potential conflicts with Israel and the United States.
Mansouri stated: “We must prepare for another war; if it occurs, its scope will be broader.”
He added: “If someone claims we have no influence, or does not know what influence is, or is himself an agent, that is dangerous.”
Regarding Iran-US negotiations, he said: “The talks created expectations of avoiding direct confrontation with Israel.”
On past conflicts, he noted: “When the flood came, the excuse that we were asleep and unaware is unacceptable. In the war, many important Israeli documents in the army and Mossad were destroyed.”
He warned of potential infiltration, saying: “It is not far-fetched that penetration reaches top levels.”
Mansouri concluded emphatically: “Israel will never coexist with the Islamic Republic under any circumstances.”
