The World’s Largest Pizza with 68,000 Slices

According to SaedNews, citing Bitooteh, a Los Angeles-based pizzeria is attempting to break the record for the world’s largest pizza. David Graves, the company’s president, said the pizza could yield up to 68,000 slices. Once the record is officially set, the massive pizza will be donated to local food banks and charitable organizations.

When completed, the giant pizza will cover approximately 14,000 square feet. The team will use more than 6,000 kilograms of dough and nearly 2,500 kilograms of sauce. Large rectangular sheets of dough are laid out across the hall to form the pizza’s base. Tomato sauce is then spread over the surface, followed by layers of cheese and pepperoni.

Once finished, the 14,101-square-foot pizza will be divided into 68,000 slices, ready to be shared with the community.
