SAEDNEWS: On a visit to Beirut on Saturday, the Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said that Iran is ready to open an air corridor towards Beirut to help the Lebanese.
According to SAEDNEWS, During a recent visit to Beirut, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf announced that Iran is prepared to establish an air corridor to assist the Lebanese people in need.
At a joint press conference with his Lebanese counterpart, Ghalibaf discussed the need for aid while meeting with various Palestinian groups. He stated, "Iran will support any decision taken by the government and people of Lebanon." He emphasized that "whatever decision the Lebanese people, the Lebanese government and the resistance make, the Islamic Republic of Iran will support it."
Ghalibaf reassured the Lebanese during these challenging times, saying, "I would like to declare here that the Islamic Republic of Iran will stand by the Lebanese people and government and the resistance in this difficult situation."
As he prepared to travel to Geneva for a meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), Ghalibaf expressed his commitment to representing Lebanon’s struggles. "I will definitely convey the message of the oppressed people of Lebanon and Palestine to all the speakers of the parliaments of the countries," he mentioned.
In his discussion with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati, Ghalibaf confirmed Iran's readiness to deliver humanitarian assistance through an air corridor, ensuring the aid reaches the injured, displaced, and war-affected individuals in Lebanon under their government's supervision.
