SAEDNEWS: Lebanese Resistance Movement Hezbollah attacked several Israeli military facilities in northern occupied Palestine on Monday, including the Glilot military base near Tel-Aviv.
According to SAEDNEWS, In a significant escalation, the Lebanese group Hezbollah launched an attack on several Israeli military installations, including the Glilot military base located near Tel Aviv, on Monday.
Hezbollah announced, "The Resistance forces fired several missiles towards the Glilot intelligence center." The group stated that the attack was "carried out in defense of Lebanon and its people, in response to the Israeli air force’s barbaric bombings."
In addition to the missile strikes, Hezbollah targeted the Israeli settlements of Adamit, Hanita, and Shlomi in Western Galilee. Reports indicated that air raid sirens sounded in Avivim, Dalton, and Yiron during the same period, according to TASS.
Since early October last year, Hezbollah has regularly targeted Israeli military positions in retaliation for the Israeli government's actions against Gaza and southern Lebanon. The renewed conflict began when Israel launched airstrikes on Gaza on October 7, following a large-scale operation by Hamas against Israel, which was described as a response to the ongoing violence against the Palestinian people.
In response to the crisis, Israel has imposed a strict blockade on Gaza, cutting off essential supplies such as fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living in the territory.
