It is hard to imagine these days that anyone does not like pasta—especially with its appealing color, aroma, and special sauce that makes it irresistible. Since its invention, pasta has undergone many changes, and each chef prepares it in their own unique way. Among all varieties, Italian pasta is the most famous.
Chicken fillet: 250 g
Spaghetti: 250 g
Butter: 2 tablespoons
Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
Garlic: 2 cloves
Heavy cream: ½ cup
Chicken stock or plain water: ½ cup
Fresh lemon juice: 3 tablespoons
Lemon zest: 1 teaspoon
Parmesan cheese: ½ cup
Salt, black pepper, and thyme: as needed
Chopped parsley (for garnish): as needed

Cut the chicken fillet into strips or slices and season with salt and pepper.
Heat a pan over medium heat, then add olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter and let it warm.
Add the seasoned chicken and increase the heat to brown and cook it until golden. Then remove it from the pan.
In the same pan, add another tablespoon of butter. Once melted, add the grated garlic.
After about 30 seconds, add the cream and chicken stock and stir well.
Reduce the heat and let the sauce simmer for 2–3 minutes until it slightly thickens.
Add fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, and half a cup of Parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth and well combined, then turn off the heat.
Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water until tender.
Do not fully drain the pasta. Reserve about half a cup of pasta water.
Add the pasta along with the reserved water directly into the lemon sauce.
Return the cooked chicken to the pan and mix everything well until fully combined.
Serve the pasta and garnish with fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese. Add lemon slices on the side for decoration.
Your delicious chicken and lemon pasta is ready to serve. Enjoy!

Pasta comes in many shapes and varieties today. For this recipe, penne is recommended, as it is commonly used for pasta dishes. However, other types can also be used if penne is not available.
Do not overcook the pasta; it should remain slightly firm to the bite (al dente). Never rinse pasta with water after draining.
Garlic should only be sautéed for a few seconds. If overcooked, it loses its aroma and flavor.
